Our Process
At Solent Architecture, we aim to make the design process as smooth and straightforward as possible. Using 3D design software, we help you visualise your ideas from the start so that every decision is clear. Whether you’re in Southsea or elsewhere in Hampshire, we guide you through each stage from initial concept to completed plans.

Concept Design
We begin with a free on-site consultation to understand your goals and develop a clear brief. From there, we produce early design concepts to explore the best approach for your space.

Detailed Design
& Planning
& Planning
Once the concept is agreed, we produce detailed drawings and prepare everything needed for a planning application. If planning isn’t required, we’ll confirm whether your project is covered under permitted development.
3.
Technical Design & Building Regs
We produce full technical drawings to ensure your design meets all relevant Building Regulations and can be submitted to Building Control or your local authority for approval.
